Manastash Ridge Group Hike
Free Community Hike | Ellensburg, WA | HIKE DETAILS
Date: Saturday, January 11
Time: 11:00 AM (we start hiking at 11 sharp — arrive early so you don’t miss it)
Meeting Point: Manastash Ridge Trailhead | 7321 Cove Rd, Ellensburg, WA 98926
Come hike Manastash Ridge with Erin Oostra and a great group of people. This is a free, community hike focused on movement, fresh air, and doing something a little hard together.
All levels are welcome, but fair warning — this hike is hard for most people thanks to steep climbs, elevation gain, and winter conditions. Go at your own pace, take breaks, and enjoy the views along the way.
Routes will vary and this is not a guided hike, just a group of people showing up to move together.
Winter requirement: Microspikes are required.
This hike is also a fun way to build fitness if you’re interested in joining Erin on one of her hiking trips. You can learn more on Erin’s Travel Page.
Important but quick:
You hike at your own risk. Erin isn’t liable for injuries or accidents and can’t answer individual emails about the hike. Everyone is responsible for their own safety and preparation.
Check recent trail conditions on AllTrails and Washington Trails Association before coming.
AllTrails – search “Manastash Ridge” for routes, elevation gain, and reviews

If fresh air, good people, and a solid challenge sound fun, meet us at the trailhead.
This is not a guided tour and not a beginner hike. Manastash Ridge is rugged, steep, and demanding. Routes will vary depending on weather, trail conditions, and group dynamics.
The goal is simple: move our bodies, enjoy the outdoors, build community, and have fun doing something hard together.
Hikes will occur several times per month. They will start on time.
